Vedeneyev M14-P installations on Yak and Sukhoi all have a brown Oil Filter Screen and a Yellow Fuel Gascolator with a swing door.
This is a pack of 2 rubber gaskets, which fit into either of these door's face grooves.
Change the gasket if you notice leakage.
When releasing the swing door, anticipate a spring-loaded mesh screen in both Fuel and Oil
filters, which are
quite fragile and are not interchangeable.
Plan for a small amount of oil to leave the housing, but in the case of the Fuel Gascolator, pull the Red fire lever in the cockpit to temporarily halt fuel flow.
Remember to safety wire the strongarm and wing nut that secures these doors shut.
If you go to start it later, and the fuel Primer feels unusually hard, you forgot to push the Red Fire lever forward!
