Valve spring compressors are just the tool to allow you to compress valve springs
on overhead
and L-head engines on airplanes, cars, trucks and tractors.

The Spring Compressor Tool is long and slender.   It is adapted to reach into small areas
where valve springs and retaining washers are located.
The arms of the tool are hinged and adjustable, so they are practically parallel at the jaws.
The spring steel jaws are adjustable in width by using the small paddles on the side of the tool
to fit the valve springs.
The jaws have edges that are thin and can be easily used over and under the ends of the
push rod tube spring to compress it for removal.
