A large Williams Sonoma black “Chiangmai Dragon” lidded Ginger Jar, decorated with a Regal dragon and stylized blooms in soft pastels against an inky black glaze, lending a traditional Chinese pattern the ethereal beauty of a moonlit mythical garden. Hand painted with gold-colored trim, the lidded jar is striking on its own or as part of a collection.
Handcrafted and hand-painted with smooth semigloss finish. Variations in handcraftsmanship make each piece unique. Designed by Schumacher, 9.75" diam., 17.5" high; 10 lb. 5 oz. in pristine condition, this magnificent jar is now discontinued from manufacturing and a rare find indeed.
