On offer here is a nice c.1930's photo album from the
San Fernando Lemon Association
. The small album is comprised of 10 (ten) original 5x7 black & white gelatin photos related to the citrus packing operations of the Association. The images date from about 1930 (based on the 1930 Ford seen in one of the images).
The images show employees packing and processing the fruit going thru the plant. Most of the employees seem to be Hispanic women.
An interesting documentary set of photos detailing one of the more important industries gemane to California.
