Please look at our photos carefully. If there is any obvious preexisting damage on our item, we will call it out specifically in detail, and provide a photograph. We don’t examine our items microscopically, but we do call out what can be seen with the naked eye. Therefore we don’t accept returns.  However, should any issue arise, such as breakage, in the shipping process, we will work with you quickly to resolve the issue.  We pack so that our items can be dropped-kicked across the country and, to date, have never had an item break in shipping.
If we ship via UPS, insurance is automatically included for items up to 100.00 in value. The Buyer is responsible for purchasing insurance for items above that value, and for all items valued at over 50.00 that ship through the post office.
A handling fee for items over 50.00, that ship through USPS, or over 100.00 that ship through UPS, will include the insurance for the item purchased; this ranges from 1.65 to 6.40, depending of the value of the item.
At this time we don’t ship internationally, with one exception. We understand that Vancouver and Victoria still have significant tea culture. If you see a cup you really can’t live without, and are willing to pay the fairly horrible shipping fees along with the fees for insurance and customs, we will ship to Canada, but will add a 4.00 surcharge for completing the customs forms on our end. Please message us before you purchase, if you want the cup shipped to Canada. Also, please know that after you purchase the cup, and are content to pay the shipping and customs tax to Canada, we will need to send you an invoice from PayPal to cover those fees after your purchase.
