    Description

    PRESENTATION
    Here is a most unusual Aynsley good sized covered dish that might be used for sugar or candy, or even trinkets. The shape reminds us of an apple!
    The background is white. The dish is decorated with the pretty floral Howard Sprays design. There is a gold outline of a leaf on the lid and it is indented where the core might be. The piece has a nice glossy finish which complements the lovely coloring.
    COMPOSITION and SIZE
    Fine English bone china with unusual apple shape. It measures approximately 3-1/4" in diameter. With the rounded lid in place, it measures about 3-1/8"H.
    MARKINGS
    There is a backstamp on the bottom. There is an insignia and it reads "Established 1775 HOWARD SPRAYS Fine Bone China Made in England".
