    Description

    This was an estate find and I believe the company made other colors in the same pattern. Collect them all pink and turquoise. This is an excellent example of vintage English China. The white roses are raised in the cup and on the saucer, on a black background, the cup has a ribbed exterior, white with a gold line. Hallmark is clear to read (see pics) no stress cracks. The gold overlay has no missing spots or dullness.  On footed rim there is tiny raised area under the finish but part of the actual cup see right side of pic of bottom.  The saucer is a 5.5” diameter.  The footed cup is 2 5/8” tall from the handle and teacup opening is 3 9/16” wide. Based on hallmark and the 31 I am assuming vintage 1930s. Please see pics and ask questions.
