Description
Here is an antique photo album featuring 472 original photographs, the majority appear to be in Colorado, c. 1910s -30s. There are many interesting and unusual photos. There are several photos of (what appears to be) university students; they are drinking/intoxicated in a few photos, dressed in drag in a couple. And there is a photo of a man who appears to be brewing beer (Prohibition?). I don't know if this has anything to do with the Coors Brewery in Golden or not. There's an early airplane that appears to be flying over Golden. The photos vary greatly in size. The album is huge and heavy, weighing over 5 lbs. (15.5" x 11"). There are gelatin silver, albumen photos and real photo postcards. Snapshots also. There are about 15 loose photos. Some photos have damage. There are some duplicates.Here is some of what is in the album:
